Graduation

• 2.6 million teenagers do not know that you can die from an alcohol overdose.
• During a typical weekend, an average of one teenager dies each hour in a car crash, nearly 50% of those accidents involve alcohol.
• Eight young people a day die in alcohol-related crashes
• More than 35% of all 16 to 20 year old deaths result from motor vehicle crashes. 37% were alcohol-related crashes.

These are just a few statistics of things that go on during the prom and graduation season. I myself will be graduating this year. With these celebrations comes the reality that drinking and driving causes death. I know I will not be a statistic.
